WHO WE ARE

I am Mary King, the owner of K92 Events LLC. I am better known to the ones close to me as Mama King and more importantly these days as Gunny. I am the mother of some amazing adults and grandmother to two beautiful grandchildren who drive me to follow my passion. I get to use my imagination and creativity to bring others' visions to life. My passion started 30 years ago when I married my soulmate and best friend during the wedding of my dreams. After spending several years in the corporate world in the mortgage and vending fields I stepped into the school system where I was pushed to continue using my creative side and passion. It was at this time, after bringing someone’s ideas for costumes and sets to life with my skills, that I decided to step into the industry that really pulled at my heartstrings. In 2009 my first step into the wedding business sparked a fire that showed me I could take someone’s ideas and bring them to life. From then until 2013, I used only my referrals to continue to feed my passion. In 2013, after my son joined the Marines, I created CAMhomemade where I became a creator of Crucible candles and licensed through the United States Marine Corps. After being contacted by a complete stranger one day, and after much consideration, a lot of love and feedback from my husband and children I decided to create K92 Events LLC. My two daughters joined me full time, each bringing their own individual talents to the table. Beyond us are four amazing adults and many more willing to step in and take this to a different level. My goal is to be able to bring all of my clients in, listen to their ideas and help bring their visions to life. No celebration, or event is too small or too big.
